COVID-19 Update, 11/3/20

Dear Central Cambria Families,

After the conclusion of the school day on Tuesday, November 3rd, the district was made aware that an additional high school student has tested positive for COVID-19. After being notified, district officials contacted the DOH for further guidance. As we await their guidance and to assist their efforts in contact tracing, Central Cambria High School will need to close for in-person instruction on Wednesday, November 4th. Students will attend through their Virtual Livestream Instruction. This will also allow additional time for our maintenance department to conduct deep cleaning as we await further guidance from state public health officials. This temporary move to virtual instruction only impacts the high school.  At the present time, there are no positive COVID-19 cases on any of our teams that are still competing.  We will update you if this closure would need to be extended beyond Wednesday.
