POSITIONS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS – EFFECTIVE WITH THE 2018-2019 SY

 

SECONDARY SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER – One permanent F/T position.  PA 7-12 Social Studies certification required.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS TEACHER – One permanent F/T position.  PA 7-12 English or PA Grades 4-8 English Language Arts certification required.

 

Application requirements:  Submit a Letter of Interest, Resume, Transcripts, Certification Exam Score Report, PA Standard Application (see Documentation Links below), PA Teacher Certification, three letters of recommendation, and State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances (must be within five years). 

 

CLASSIFIED POSITION – EFFECTIVE AUGUST 13, 2018

 

10-MONTH ATTENDANCE SECRETARY – One permanent position available in the High School. Successful candidate must possess excellent organizational and communication skills,  computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Word and Google Docs, and the ability to multi-task, work independently, and work collaboratively with others.  Previous secretarial, data entry and recordkeeping experience preferred.

HEAD WRESTLING COACH

ASSISTANT WRESTLING COACH (VARSITY)

CLASSIFIED P/T PERMANENT POSITION – Position open until filled
 
FOOD SERVICE WORKER
 

3.5 hour part-time permanent position salary starting at $9.00/hr.   Kitchen experience helpful, but not required.  Application to include:  District General Employee’s Application; Physical/TB on School Health Personnel Record (within one year); PDE-6004 Arrest/Conviction Report & Certification form; State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances (within past five years); I-9 Employment Verification with required ID; Confirmation of completion of Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training; W-4; Local Earned Income Tax Form; and Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release(s).  Please see below for documentation links or pick up a paper application at the Administrative Office during business hours.  Application packets are to be mailed or hand delivered to:  Central Cambria School District, Administrative Office, 208 Schoolhouse Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931.  EOE

DAY TO DAY SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS:

 Professional (Teacher [all disciplines] and Nurse) and Classified (Cafeteria, Custodial, Housekeeping, Para-Professional; Secretarial) day-to-day substitute positions available.  Please see below for substitute application requirements and documentation links.

DAY TO DAY SUBSTITUTES APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

All day-to day substitutes are approved by the School District Board of Directors. Meetings are typically held the second Monday of the month, with the exception of May, July, and December. Approved substitutes are not physically added to substitute list(s) until all paperwork requirements are complete.

Professional Positions (Teacher and Nurse):  A complete application packet will include:  PA Standard Application; Teaching Certificate or Nursing License; Physical/TB on School Health Personnel Record; PDE-6004 Arrest/Conviction Report & Certification Form; State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances; I-9 Employment Verification with two forms of ID; Confirmation of completion of Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training; W-4; Local Earned Income Tax form; and Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release(s). Classified Positions (Cafeteria, Custodial, Housekeeping, Paraprofessional,  and Secretarial):  A complete application packet will include same as above with the following exceptions:  District General Employee’s Application, and no certification/license requirements. Classified Substitute rate $8/hour.
