College and Career Home

Dear Central Cambria community,

I hope you all are doing well!

My name is Micah McConnell, and I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the Central Cambria community.  I recently accepted the college advisor position here at Central Cambria High School, and I am very excited to begin this new chapter of my professional career.

My most recent professional experience was serving as a paraeducator at Cambria Heights Middle and High School.  I also studied sociology and communication at Juniata College, and I played football for all two years (Go Eagles!!).  Football has always been a huge part of my life, and I learned so much from being a student-athlete.  I am eager to help students at Central Cambria to pursue their own passions and guide them toward their own successful college and career paths.

Outside of the classroom, I am a volunteer firefighter, a football coach, and a youth minister.  My hobbies include DJing local community events, hanging out with friends and family, and watching Survivor.

Looking forward to working with you all,

Mr. McConnell
